Tournament rules

Ranked League is a free simulated trading tournament organised by Ranked League with a regulated broker partner. There is no entry fee and no real money is traded: everyone trades a demo account with our regulated broker.

• Each season lasts 14 days, on UTC time — this season runs from 2 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC to 16 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC. A new season starts every 7 days, so two seasons overlap.
• You join by registering on rankedleague.com and then opening a demo account with our regulated broker from the link we give you, so the account is tagged for your season.
• New registrants join the newest running season while at least 7 days remain; otherwise they join the next season. Everyone in a season shares the same end date.

• Starting balance $10,000 (demo). No resets or top-ups during a season.
• The broker's full demo instrument list is available, at its standard retail leverage for the tournament.
• Use of the demo account must stay within the broker's standard terms.

• Prize board (prizes are paid from this board): score = return ÷ max drawdown, with drawdown counted as at least 1%.
• Return board: raw return, for recognition only.
• Return = (closing equity − $10,000) ÷ $10,000, with open positions marked to market at the close.
• Max drawdown = the largest fall from a peak in equity, as a share of that peak, over the season. It is measured on hourly snapshots of your equity, so it is approximate: a dip and recovery within the same hour may not show.
• Ties are broken by lower max drawdown, then by fewer trades.
• The leaderboard updates every hour from the broker's feed.

To be eligible for a prize at the close of the season you must:

• trade on at least 5 active days (a UTC day with at least 1 closed trade) and close at least 10 trades in the season;
• not be disqualified, and still be above the drawdown limit at the close;
• have a KYC-verified live account with our regulated broker in the same identity before 14 November 2026 at 00:00 UTC. Playing is free; verification is what makes you eligible to win;
• not be under review at the close; and
• not be resident in an excluded country (below).

Excluded countries (you can play, but can't win a prize): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom. The full list is confirmed by compliance before each season.

• Drawdown. If your equity falls 30% or more below its peak at any hourly snapshot, you are disqualified immediately. This is shown on the leaderboard with the reason.
• One account per person. We look for signs of linked accounts: a shared device, shared email or phone, and mirrored positions. One sign puts the account under review: it stays on the board but can't win until cleared, and the reason is not shown publicly. 2 or more different signs disqualify the account, shown publicly as "Multiple accounts".
• Misuse. Using the demo account outside the broker's standard terms can lead to disqualification.
• Appeals. You can appeal a disqualification within 48 hours of it being shown by emailing support@rankedleague.com from your registered email. The Ranked League team reviews every appeal.

• Prizes go by rank on the prize board, among eligible traders.
• Cash prizes are paid to your KYC-verified live account, not by bank transfer or e-wallet.
• Trading credit unlocks after 5 live trades or 1 lot traded, and doesn't stack with any first-trade protection offer.
• Results are published within 48 hours of the season closing; prizes are paid within 10 days.

These rules are published before a season opens and don't change during it. A later season may run under a newer version. This page shows rules version v1.
